Polyureas is an all-encompassing technology of fast set spray coatings, elastomers and adhesives along with a full line of high performance cast elastomers.  It is the rapid intermolecular crosslinking of isocyanates with amines that give you that quick and durable structure in a fast turnaround time. However, it is a truly formulated system as you have to balance speed of gel time along with tensile, tear and elongation properties; hence many polyurea systems are a combination of various isocyanate prepolymer chemistries along with a mixture of amines, polyols and additives.  No one polyurea formula will meet all applications. That’s why you must come to the experts in both raw material synthesis and formulating of this very creative chemistry. Many companies are looking for fast turn-around of finished parts that can be handled quickly. Polyureas are becoming increasingly popular in OEM parts and finished goods manufacturing. Some examples include coatings, adhesives, caulks and processing aids such as vacuum bags and maskants.  Many companies have market penetration and sales forces selling other thermoset products. They see the benefits of Polyureas, but want a rapid entrée to the market. The Hanson Group Companies has formulations and tested products that can be private labeled for quick market release.

The Hanson Group has various high performance polyurethane systems for cast and coatings.  The cast systems are renowned from the developments of Chuck Demarest at Aragon Technologies.  Over 2000 formulations from rigid (90D) to flexible (20A) cast elastomers are available for private label or casted into finished goods at our Colorado manufacturing plant.  We have a line of high solids, high performance polyurethane industrial floor coatings that are available for private label.
